Ninety minutes in your kitchen. We measure, photograph, and ask how you actually use the room: who cooks, how many at once, what you own that never fits anywhere. No drawings, no charge, no obligation.
Two layout options in plan and elevation, with a finishes board and a fixed price against each. If neither is right we redraw once at no cost. Most people choose here.
Every cabinet drawn at 1:20, every service located, every appliance confirmed against its actual cut-out. This is the stage other companies skip, and the reason their sites run late.
Joinery is built in our Richmond workshop while your stone is templated and cut. Nothing is demolished at your place yet — you keep a working kitchen.
Strip-out, services, install, stone, tiling, and paint. Four to five weeks with the room out of action. We set up a temporary bench and sink elsewhere in the house on day one.
We walk the room with you and fix the list. Then we come back at three months, because timber moves in its first season and doors want a second adjustment.
Week seventeen
Weeks your kitchen is out of action. Not five, not nine — the joinery is finished before we demolish anything.

On variations
The number in your contract is the number on your invoice. If that is not true, someone quoted badly and it should not be your problem.
The honest part
Stone slabs crack at the fabricator. Imported appliances arrive six weeks late. Nineteenth-century floors turn out to have no bearing where the island was going.
All three have happened to us. In each case the fix was ours to wear, not yours — that is what a fixed price actually means. You will hear about a problem from us on the day we find it, not in week twenty.
Timing
Yes, and most clients do. The four weeks without a kitchen are the hard part, not the noise — we work standard hours and the site is cleaned every evening.
We hold the install date and fit the surrounding joinery with a temporary panel, then return to swap it. You are not left with an open hole for six weeks.
